The new neon tower for Sapporo Beer built on the
Susukino Green Building was introduced in the local TV news, local
papers, and industry papers. It was really delightful not only for
us engaged in the neon advertising business but for the people of
Sapporo to see the biggest-in-Hokkaido new neon sign tower, especially
when the number of neon towers is on a declining trend.
Differently from currently popular LED signs, this neon sign flashes in the typical
manner for neon signs and is very bright to attract people’s attention. A three-dimensional
beer mug was designed in one corner and when the neon sign is lit it looks like
real beer is being poured into a mug. It is hoped that this neon sign is the
beginning of an era for many new advertising signs not only in Susukino but also
in Sapporo, and that the economy will be on an upward trend. |
